Eugene Beer Week

Eugene Beer Week celebrates craft beer and community in the Willamette Valley. Bring in customers with special beer releases, beer tastings, beer & food pairings, brewers dinners, pint specials, classes on how to taste, brew, or enjoy beer, and more. Events are hosted at restaurants, pubs, bars, bottle shops, grocery stores, and breweries throughout the Eugene/Springfield area.

FUNday Tour

We begin sampling new and usual beer styles at Hair of the Dog, a very small 4 barrel brewery in the inner SE that is known for bottle conditioning beers that improve with age. We then head to Widmer, Portland’s largest brewery, and the 9th largest brewery in the US. After snacking on some food and sampling fresh beer, we head to the Mississippi neighborhood’s favorite gathering spot, Amnesia Brewery, where they brew quality beer in a converted warehouse with an outdoor patio. We sit outside and enjoy the scene as we drink some delicious NW inspired brews. Tour is all-inclusive of beer, food, souvenir Brewvana Pilsner glass and safe and fun transportation all over town. Tours are 21+ with valid ID required. Cost: $60/person

Cinco de Micro

The first annual Cinco de Micro Brewfest, presented by OZ Cap LLC, featuring your favorite local and northwest brews, local eateries and vineyards, musical entertainment and the unique opportunity to taste hard to find, spring release brews. Entrance is $10 per person and includes a tasting mugs and two taste tickets. A limited number of VIP passes are available for $25, including a tasting mug, four taste tickets and access to the VIP lounge and lines.

Pork Fest

A celebration of everything Pork! Join Rogue Ales Public House for the 1st annual Pork Fest. Enjoy Three Little Pig Sandwiches, a celebrity appearance by Rogue’s Pot Belly Pigs: Voo and Doo, Maple Bacon Bars, Live Music, Pin the Tail on the Pig, Corn Hole games, and Craft Beers! Saturday Imbibing Tour

We begin at Coalition, a small 10 barrel brewery in the inner SE where we taste their handcrafted, highly drinkable beers that reflect traditional brewing techniques and NW innovation. Our next spot is Hopworks Urban Brewery (HUB), Portland’s first eco-brewpub that offers handcrafted organic beers in a sustainably built and operating building. We get a fully brewery tour with an in depth description of the brewing process as we sample beers. For lunch we travel north to Breakside Brewery, a small 3 barrel brewery where we sample their vast selection of beers and dine in the restaurant. Our last stop is Lompoc’s Side Bar, a special tasting room that features a variety of barrel aged and seasonal beers that are only available in the tasting room. Tour is all-inclusive of beer, food, souvenir Brewvana Pilsner glass and safe and fun transportation all over town. Tours are 21+ with valid ID required. Cost: $75/person.

Behind the Scenes Tour

The tour begins at Buckman Village, a small brewery that shares space with a nano brewery and a distillery, located inside a SE pub that features 49 rotating taps. After sampling beers there, we then visit Cascade Barrel Brewing, a 7,000 square foot warehouse where beers are barrel aged and conditioned and unique sour beers are produced. We get a special behind the scenes peek at where the magic happens and taste unusual beers we never thought we would like! We then head NE to sample more beers and enjoy lunch at Laurelwood, Oregon’s first certified organic brewery. Our last stop is Upright, a production brewery with a casual tasting room at a brewery that specializes in farmhouse ales with a pacific NW twist. Tour is all-inclusive of beer, food, souvenir Brewvana Pilsner glass and safe and fun transportation all over town. Tours are 21+ with valid ID required. Cost: $75/person.

San Francisco International Beer Festival

The 29th Annual San Francisco International Beer Festival is Saturday April 28, 2012. Your $65 admission gets you a bottomless taster mug for enjoying hundreds of craft beers from your favorite local and international breweries as well as delicious eats from sensational San Francisco restaurants.

Music to shake your swagger to will be brought to you by DJ Roy Two Thousand – the man who combines the soundsystem technique of classic dub culture together with rock, hip hop and funk-infused electronica.

SFIBF is the sole fundraiser for the Telegraph Hill Co-operative Nursery School. The whole event is produced by the parents of Tel-hi’s students, and the money raised will fund the teaching and learning programs at our little school for an entire year.
