On February 15th, Speakeasy Ales & Lagers, Shmaltz Brewing Company and Ninkasi Brewing Company unite to turn the historic Elks Lodge of San Francisco into a merry carnival of craft brew, fine food, and circus performance.
Ringleader and “Home Brew Chef,” Sean Z. Paxton pairs 12 beers – many rare and unusual – along with a whimsical, circus-inspired 9-course menu to accompany the show.
The three breweries and Mr. Paxton also collaborated to brew the Three Ring Circus Ale, an anything-but-traditional nut brown ale brewed with dulce de leche, popped corn and peanuts that pays homage to the spirit of the circus. The beer was brewed at Speakeasy in San Francisco and will make its debut at the dinner.
With circus sideshow performers contorting their way through the evening, and the exclusive debut of the collaboration beer, the bizarre and intriguing Three Ring Circus is a can’t-miss event to add to your Beer Week itinerary. Reserved tickets are $120 (including all fees and gratuity).
